I have an import Buff Beauty set in my Squier Strat and I am very happy with the tones from this set! Also, I resurrected a beater flea market Mexican Strat for a client with a set of import Mariposas and he absolutely loves the pickups and results for giving his guitar a new lease on life! The same client brought me an Epiphone 335 Dot belonging to the other guitarist in his band and I installed a set of A4 Day Breakers in that guitar - he couldn't believe the huge difference those pickups made in that guitar! thank you! USA Mariposa's over wound pickups are way better than they advertise your guitar and tone will love you for getting them. I can not wait to try more of their pickups. After listening to these I started out with just 2 guitars I wanted to replace the pickups on now all my gear is getting a set of Rose pickups. Hi Ken, my guitar tech fitted the Hermosa pickups to my Mexican Strat and he didn't expect much from them but after trying them he said they are 'Stunning!' and that the tone is incredible, he was amazed and especially at the price. I've forwarded him your website address as he requested it. I've also tried them through my Marshall amp and I'm very impressed.? Great Products Ken, I have 2 different sets of pickups I purchased from Ken. 1st the Mariposa I installed these in an old Kramer Strat style guitar that was just about on its last leg, or so I thought. After installation I plugged her in and the sounds that came out of that guitar rivaled those of some of the American Strats I have played. Great jog with this like 2nd set was Rose New Dawn humbuckers This set of humbuckers went into my SXX Les Paul copy. The difference was breathtaking. I went from a tinny thin sound to the robust warmth brought out by this new set of pickups. Again spot on with the design on these. 3rd set. Will be for my Epiphone G400 as soon as I figure out what I want to replace them with. Alf Musician
