I just Installed an Alchymist humbucker in my HSS strat and the difference between this and the stock one is amazing. The cleans are amazing and the overdriven sound is great as well. i own three sets of Rose Pickups and a New Dawn guitar. a set of Meriposas in a plywood Cort Strat copy, a set of Buff Beauties in an '05 MIM Fender Standard Strat, and a set of chrome covered New Dawn humbuckers in the New Dawn Signature prototype... i just installed some of the Rose Buffs in one of my strats. super pickup, glassy, and the neck has those Bell tones really want.. they are under wound but its a very vintage kinda favor.. you can really slam it with a gain or distort pedal.. breakup really nice not near as sterile as some you would find in this price range.. these are easy a match for fender customs.. another thing was how well detailed the markings were on the back of the pups. every bit of information you need...
