I recently installed a strat set 2 singles and a humbucker in a buscarino. I was used to actives so the low gain threw me at first. I have found that using more gain on my amp is the way to go. My Rose pickups clean up but don't loose high end when I back off my volume. Amazing how smooth the transition is. I installed the pickups a few days ago with great results. All three sound great and have that delicate Strat bell-like chime I was looking for. The stock 2002 Highway one pickups were good, but didn't generate near the clarity and complex sounds that these do. Vince Musician

Hey Ken I got the pickups, put them in, and thought I'd write to say these are AWESOME! I am so happy with these. I was thinking they would be too low of an output since I'm used to the ceramics that come with MIM strats, but wow, these are perfect! Clean clear, and with the strat snap that the ceramics can lack. I just hope you still have some by the type I can sell off my old pickups on ebay (I have 7 strat style guitars and at least 2 more need these awesome pickups). Also I threw together some quick soundclips and thought you'd enjoy hearing them. Sorry to hog up space in you in box. They were all recorded with a custom gold relic strat with a maple neck (with greasebucket tone controls) through a tube overdrive pedal and into a Digitech RP500.
