Rose Custom Pickups vs. Vintage Pickups. Which should I get?

All Rose Pickups are Hand Wound.
The only difference between the Custom and Vintage lines are the bobbins. The Custom line uses Phenolic Resin Impregnated Paper from WilsonArt, while the Classic line uses Rubber Impregnated Paper, also known as Forbon. Both materials have been around for decades.
Making the Custom line bobbins on our CNC, allows complete control of volume and design. We can make our own styles if needed, such as the one of a kind Rose Picasso Jazzmaster humbucker (Bottom left photo). This also means we do not rely on third parties for bobbins.
The price of Vintage vs Custom is based off the cost of materials.
Reasons to go with the Rose Custom bobbin:
1. It costs you less.
2. They are custom built in house on the Rose CNC machine.
3. They are built exactly in the same way as vintage pickups.
4. The material is as tough as rubber impregnated paper fiber (Forbon).
Reasons to go with the Rose Vintage bobbin:
1. Forbon is the correct vintage material, and I require that for my guitar.
