Rose Pickups and New Dawn guitars will be moving forward with new models of pickups and guitars. 

We will continue to create our bread and butter Mariposa Single Coils, and will be offering a brand new Humbucker named the "Day Breaker."  The Day Breaker will be wound with Alnico V Long Bar magnet, offered in a 4 lead coil tap configuration.

Our Hermosa line will now be hand wound on modern bobbins, using Alnico V Rod Magnets.

Our Royal Sunset will be hand wound, using Alnico V bar magnets with 4 lead and 2 lead options.

New this year in our pickup line will be a P90 offering. The Rose Pickups Rugosa will be Alnico V magnet P90,s giving you a classic tone. The P90 will be machine wound for consistency.

Later this year, we will offer a Telecaster set of pickups known as the Rose "Westerland" set. 

New for the New Dawn Guitar line is our signature style guitar. This is our own design, and will be offered in 3 styles.

The New Dawn Signature Flat Top Modern will be available with dual humbuckers, TOM style bridge, with a string through design for better tonal bite. All Korean hardware and electronics.

The New Dawn Signature Flat Top Vintage will be available with dual P90 pickups, TOM style bridge, with a Bigsby style vibrato. All Korean hardware and electronics.

The New Dawn Signature Carved Top will be available with a Flame Maple top, with dual humbuckers. All Korean hardware and elecronics.

After auditioning a few factories, and having a few prototypes created, New Dawn Guitars has taken a positive step forward in our journey towards a new line of guitars. We are currently batch ordering our first offering of the New Dawn Iconic model. They will be for sale here on our website (rosepickups.com / newdawnguitars.com), and we are in negotiations with local music stores, and hope to have a deal done soon. We will continue to sell our bread and butter, Rose Pickups. New Dawn Guitars will most likely have a slow growth, but we are commited to making this dream come true. We do not want to have the average guitar, we want quality guitars, and will make sure that happens. Look for new and exciting models from New Dawn Guitars in the future!

As many of you know, Rose Pickups has been entertaining the idea of our own line of guitars. We are currently moving ahead with this idea. We are in the stage of determining with whom we will partner with to make this come to fruition. Currently no name has been established, however our guitars will not share the name of our Rose pickups business. Stay tuned for more exciting news as we leap forward into new ventures. I would personally like to say, Welcome aboard to my brother, Kevin Currie, who is now Co Owner of The Rose Pickups Co.

Rose Pickups News.... 7/4/2009 Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July to everyone! I hope you fire up the Bar-B-Q! We have some great news! Rose Pickups will now be available to a broader audience! After a fair bit of meetings, and some great new ideas, we have decided to expand and offer different levels of pickups, a Standard and Platinum line. Those who are familiar with our introductory line of pickups, will recognize the Platinum series. The new Rose Standard line will be built to our exact specifications, and will carry an amazingly low price. Rose Platinum pickups will be made in our custom pickup shop, by hand, using our Rose Coil Winder, and will come with all vital stats. Thank you to everyone who has been so patient with us. There's a lot of red tape to get through, and once we do, The Rose Pickups Co. will be on non-stop!
